Footballers’ Wives The Musical is kicking up a storm in Edinburgh at the Fringe. Delighted for the show to be described as “total bobbins” alongside “bloody brilliant”.  Add to that “gloriously over the top”, “deliciously improper”, “extravagant”, “a triumph of histrionics” with “irresistable swagger”, “giddily indulgent”, “a whirlwind of scandal”and “fabulously garish”.

We seem to be painting a picture, don’t we?  Clive Davis of The Times gave us four stars and concluded that “Gotts and Chadwick love rolling around in the muck like a player feigning an injury.”  Well, we may have rolled in it but our fabulous cast up in Edinburgh have certainly come up smelling sweet!  They are indeed The Perfect Team and we’re loving seeing them in action.
